Fred Perry launches its second collaboration with Amy Winehouse for Spring/Summer ’11 on Monday 7th March. Highlights of the collection include reworked classic Fred Perry pieces adapted to incorporate Amy Winehouse’s signature style – foremostly in a distinctive Hawaiian print chosen by Amy herself.
Success of the staple Amy pieces in the first collection - the slimmed down twin tipped polo shirt with stand up collar, the downsized Harrington jacket, the Amy gingham bowling shirt and shrunken cotton cashmere twinset featuring the updated trademark embroidered detail on the back- are once again incorporated into this collection.
Amy’s stitched signature beneath the laurel gives the product her seal of approval as sex appeal is heightened with shorter hems, deeper necklines and coconut buttons.
Updated additions to this 32 piece collection include an Hawaiian print halter neck dress and shirt, a cropped gingham playsuit, hot pants, a body-con dress with tipping and a cropped leather mix Varsity jacket all with Amy Winehouse’s very apparent influence.
Furthermore acessories are included in this collection with the Amy barrel bag, a straw clutch, wide waist straw belts, silk head scarves and a selection of leather moccasins in a variety of colourways.
