H&M announces its latest designer collaboration with one of the world’s most iconic fashion brands Versace. Launching in Autumn 2011 and designed by Donatella Versace, the men’s and women’s collection will reference the heritage of the brand with Rock ‘n’ Roll influences.
Donatella took to the catwalk last night following the Versace men’s catwalk show during Milan Fashion Week (above) to preview one of the pieces prior to the official announcement this morning.
Available from 17th November in 300 stores nationwide and online you can expect lots of leather plus a vibrancy of print, colour and exubernace.
Donatella has also designed a pre-spring collection for H&M that launches from 19th January 2012.
“I am thrilled to be collaborating with H&M and to have the opportunity of reaching their wide audience. The collection will be quintessential Versace, perfect for H&M and Versace fans everywhere,” says Donatella Versace.
“Versace is one of the most important brands of recent times, and their collection for H&M will be glamorous and flamboyant – everything Versace stands for. Donatella Versace is sharing with us iconic designs from the archives. This is such a celebratory collaboration and is perfect for the party season,” says Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor at H&M.
