On Off On|Off Spring/Summer 2010: New Location, Website & Pop up Shop

On|Off Announces its New Location at 180 The Strand, WC2

This season, On|Off, the leading independent fashion showcase during London Fashion Week, will take place at 180 The Strand, WC2, from Friday 18th to Tuesday 22nd September 2009. Situated just moments from Somerset House, 180 The Strand is the British Fashion Council’s second London Fashion Week venue this September.

On|Off Founder and Creative Director, Lee Lapthorne said of the move: “For the past twelve seasons, On|Off has been dedicated to creating a unique experience for UK and international press and buyers. We are extremely excited about the move and whilst we’re still an independent event, we very much look forward to sharing the venue and working closely with the British Fashion Council to create an innovative fashion hub at 180 The Strand

Joint Chief Executive of the British Fashion Council Simon Ward said: “180 The Strand is going to be a fantastic addition to our venue at Somerset House this season. The contemporary space provides the perfect backdrop for directional brands and designers. Having On|Off’s exhibition and catwalk space in the same building will increase the venue’s offer to media and buyers

The On|Off space at 180 The Strand will feature a catwalk venue which will showcase returning designers such as Pam Hogg, an innovative designer exhibition space, VIP room and press lounge, which together will create a unique environment for our designers, something that On|Off has become renowned.

This is yet another innovation from On|Off, who use cutting edge technology to push the boundaries of fashion showcasing.

Situated at 8 Newburgh Street, the On|Off Boutique will be surrounded by the largest community of independently run boutiques, cafes and lifestyle brands in London’s West End.
