Rob Evans

We first profiled Rob Evans after he walked for Givenchy back in June 2010. Scouted at 22 in a small town outside Oxford, Rob had never travelled to London let alone Paris, so when the chance arose for him to travel to the mens shows it was an opportunity of a lifetime.

Following the post-show buzz surrounding Rob he was soon contacted by Bruce Weber for Self Service and Nick Knight for i-D/SHOWstudio before signing to Major in NY where he based himself for the remainder of 2010.

Whilst in NY he was whisked from meeting to meeting and shot editorial for publications including Numero Tokyo. Also, look out for a very exciting worldwide television, print and poster campaign starring Rob this Spring!

Now back in London, en-route from opening the Trussardi AW11 show in Florence and walking for Givenchy, Rob has signed to Storm Models and is looking forward to the coming months!

Where were you scouted? My boxing gym Spit ‘n’ Sawdust – it’s a real old style building so a photographer came location hunting, saw me and asked whether I wanted to take a couple of pictures with him, and it went from there.

Hobbies: All sports, but I’m a boxer, that’s what I do, box for England.

Favourite Movie: Scarface – It shows that anyone can go from nothing to everything.
What’s on your iPod? Everything from R&B/hip hop to Motown. I like all types of music but mainly R&B.
Guilty Pleasure: Fast Food or chocolate… loveeee it! I try my hardest to have a good diet but it just doesn’t happen. I train hard though so it’s cool.
Dislike: Smoking – filthy habit. And models complaining about waiting around. I like “Yo there‘s a lot harder lifestyles out there.” Trust me, I know! You should be grateful you’re in the position you’re in, so shut up! LOL
Dream country to visit: Japan. I love everything about their culture. I will get to see it one day.
What was the last thing to make you LOL? Hahahaha, when I was in America I would go to some test shoots and they would say to ‘Blue Steel’ or to ‘Magnum’. But I didn’t understand what they where talking about, then I watched ‘Zoolander’. LOL
What was the last dream you remember? Um I never really remember my dreams that much, but there’s been a couple where I have woken up and thought yoooo that would make a box office hit. LOL. I once had a dream about owning an Audi R8 and it felt so real, I was just cruising everywhere. Then I woke up and took the bus into town. Ha!
One word to describe yourself: ummm athletic/funny/kindhearted, but most of all humble.
