Manjit Deu studied Fashion Design at Winchester School of Arts before continuing his design career on the prestigious MA Fashion Design course at London College of Fashion. For his debut collection Manjit presented luxury garments for both men and women, which in-turn won the coveted ‘Collection of The Year’ Award at LCF MA 09. Manjit’s collection immediately grabbed the attention of London’s tip stylists and celebrities including Little Boots, Paloma Faith and Florence Welch. The recognition has been further enhanced by the support of Marigay McKee (Director of Fashion & Beauty, Harrods) who offered the designer a two-season exclusivity deal for his SS10 and AW10 collections. Manjit’s designs have since graced the pages of international style publications such as Dazed & Confused and V magazine as well as featuring in MAC Cosmetics’ Fall 2009 campaign.
