Manjit studied his BA in Fashion Design at Winchester School of Arts, pursuing his studies; he was invited onto MA Fashion Design and Technology at London College of Fashion in 2007.

Manjit presents a luxury collection for both women and men inspired by Art Deco architecture along South Beach, Miami. Capturing the illumination of Neon lights on the neutral stone buildings of South Beach, represented by the graduating colour of the sequin gradient, fading from opulent bright tones through to neutral paler tones.
The cutting technique originates from the analysis of his families migration from East to West, whilst investigating how the use of sequins would alter the human silhouette and drape through considered placement. Manjit collaborated with Ramesh Traderes to produce rectangular sequins, which were hand-embroidered by Glintaxiom onto high-end luxury fabric in Mumbai.
The collection won the coveted award of Collection of The Year, along with the On/Off Reinvents award to exhibit at London Fashion Week.

Manjit would like to set up his own label and plans to enter Fashion Fringe 2009.
