Fflur Owen is a BA (hons) Fashion Design graduate from The University of Westminster. Fflur’s final collection features flowing and feminine garments contrasted with elaborately hand-cut leather detail and Swarovski crystallized ram skulls. Creativity and craftsmanship is key to the collection with Fflur’s rural upbringing strongly influencing the rustic, romantic western feel to the garments. With an experimental and innovative approach, Fflur’s main interest is to embellish natural fibres to create aesthetically pleasing and desirable textures. She has gained valuable experience working in Alexander McQueen’s Studio, designing knitwear, shoes, and creating surface designs and prints for the S/S 08/09 collection.
