For Spring/Summer 2010 Ara Jo is inspired by the mythical creatures of the deep sea.  Having always been curiously fascinated by the vibrant colours, effortless beauty and streamline shapes of mermaids, it was here she took her main inspiration for the collection.
The figure hugging garments reveal the most sensual areas of the female body, mirroring the Mermaids effortless ability to attract suitors.  The tropical colours set on black reflect the vibrancy of the under-water world where the picturesque coral and kaleidoscopic fish illuminate the ocean bed.

Ara Jo graduated with a BA in ‘Fashion Design Womenswear’ from Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in 2009.  During her studies Ara gained valuable industry experience assisting the likes of Nathan Jenden, Kinder Aggugini and Nova Dando.
