Catherine Gerard is a BA (hons) Fashion Design & Business graduate from Brighton University.
Catherine’s final collection ‘La Femme Chevalier’ is based on the classic feminine silhouettes of the 1930s.  Striking silhouettes are created by coalescing and modernizing details and shapes of masculine armour from the age of chivalry, without its intrinsic restrictions.

Catherine was a prizewinner of the MaxMara/British Fashion Council design competition in 2009 and as part of the prize won a paid design role working with the brand on its AW10 collection.  Catherine’s industry experience also includes working with Proenza Schouler and Jane Mayle in New York.
