Louis-Christian Pendegrass is a BA (hons) Fashion Design graduate from UCA Epsom.

Louis-Christian’s final collection ‘Le Duel et Jewel’ is influenced by the art of fencing and swordsmanship, with gestures within each clash of the blade. These inspirations are incorporated with a streaming continuity of lines circuiting through the garments and growing out into geometric sculptures over protection points on the body.
The sword slashes are placed at an angle through the shoulder and down the spine of my pieces, encrusted with crystals, glistening through the cuts suggesting the exposure of a ‘Jewel’ encrusted soul.

Having gained an early experience in the fashion industry at Mulberry design studio, Louis-Christian was introduced to the inner workings of a prestige Fashion House. Whilst studying Louis gained further work experience as fashion assistant to the head designers at the up-and-coming womenswear brand Hemyca, where he will be continuing his role with them after graduating.
