Going deeper underground than ever before Bernard Chandran looks to his roots for a crisp and invigorating SS10 catwalk collection fresh from Kuala Lumpa. Signature structured silhouettes will be playing an important part whilst re-invented through fluid fabrics caressing the female form. Curves take a sharp nod towards constructed outer corsets demonstrating Bernard’s unadulterated love of the human body. Regenerating earthy tones for opulence - bronze, gold and orange all play a key role for SS10 while Bernard’s new print techniques of spraying or painting directly on to fabrics will be unique to the beholder. Having spent a large portion of 2009 in Paris studying more techniques Bernard will be showing some of his newfound techniques through hats, heels and haute couture. Website:
