Winner of Vauxhall Fashion Scout’s first Merit Award last season, William Tempest’s rise within the fashion world has been nothing short of meteoric. Working as a pattern maker with Giles Deacon whilst studying and graduating with first class honours, his final collection was one of the standout shows of Graduate Fashion Week. In 2007 he moved to Paris, working with Jean Charles de Castelbajac designing the women’s ready to wear collection and as well as clothes and accessories for Madonna. His collection features sharp tailored pieces and innovative cutting, which have become Tempest’s signature and have been worn by celebrities such as Emma Watson, Lily Allen and Jade Parfitt.
